差分网络研究金融危机对行业的冲击

  • 摘要： 金融危机对股票市场中行业的冲击是一个普遍关注的问题,而传统的基于序列分析的方法不能对股票市场的行业结构特征进行有效的描述.本文给出了一种考察行业结构发生变化的定量描述方法.联合利用时间延迟稳定性和最小生成树确定出多支股票之间的相互影响关系,得到股票关系网络.该网络用作对股票市场状态的描述.对不同时期的网络之间做差,得到差分网络.该差分网络的结构特征能够给出行业结构的变化.采用这一方法研究了1994年到2013年发生的五次金融危机下道琼斯30支成分股关系网络的结构变化.结果表明,金融危机影响的行业有很大的差异,比如在2008年全球金融危机受影响最大的三个股票集中在原材料行业(美国铝业公司、埃克森美孚公司、雪佛龙),而2011年欧洲债务危机下受影响最大的三支股票集中在银行和金融业(花旗集团、美国银行、摩根大通公司).本方法可用于复杂系统状态演化的研究,比如人体健康状况变化、气候变化等.

有色金属价格波动率对中国股票市场预测的应用

  • 摘要： 研究的主要目的在于检验有色金属期货价格波动是否能够预测中国股票市场收益。以2004年至2011年为样本区间,通过实证分析发现铜和铝的价格波动率均能较好地预测不同时间区间的股票收益,这种预测能力在样本内和样本外预测中均存在,其中铜价波动率比铝价波动率的预测能力更强。实证结果的稳健性并不受变量的不同测度以及计量经济学估计方法的影响。在多元回归分析中控制一些主要的宏观预测因子之后,铜价与铝价波动率的预测能力有所下降,但在不同的预测区间仍然表现出统计意义上的显著性。本结论成立依赖于所选取的研究样本区间,故此我们认为金属价格波动率对股市的预测能力可能由近期的商品金融化所导致。
